Brady Is Back!

Just one month after announcing his retirement, Brady has shocked some fans by saying that he will play this upcoming season. Many didn’t see this “un-retirement” coming, judging from how the news stayed in the headlines for about a week. Some people weren’t surprised to see that Brady unretired. I, personally, didn’t see this coming, but it is no secret that Brady loves some social media attention and may be willing to do something attention grabbing to “break the internet.”

There have been insinuations that he announced his retirement because he wanted a way out of the Buccaneers. According to some reports, Brady wasn’t happy with Head Coach Bruce Arians because there seemed to be some tension between the two over play calls.

Others believe Brady had spoken to Sean Payton, Saints head coach, about potentially teaming up in Miami; however, after the Brian Flores accusations to the organization, that possibility seemed to fall off. With all of this going on, Brady apparently decided to stay in Tampa in the end, reassuring to many players who were becoming free agents. Now that Brady is back, they want to re-sign with the Buccaneers.

In the end, Brady’s retirement may have seemed surprising, but not nearly as surprising as when he said he was coming back. Surprising or not, it will definitely be fun to watch Brady play again.
