Tyreek Hill to the Dolphins

The NFL has just gone through another massive off-season trade. The Kansas City Chiefs have officially traded star Wide Receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for multiple picks in the draft. This trade has truly shocked the football world.

After news that Davante Adams received a huge contract from the Raiders, it exploded the market for wide receiver money, which then raised the price on Hill, who now also wanted more money. But apparently the Chiefs were not in the position to pay, so they traded him. The Dolphins, immediately interested, acted quickly and got him.

This coming season, both teams’ offensive lineup will look pretty different, and how the quarterbacks respond to the changes will need to be watched. Dolphins Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is now under a lot of pressure with the addition of star Wide Receiver Tyreek Hill, because the expectations for him will be much higher. A major problem may be the deep throws that Hill usually runs, which is something Tua struggles with. In addition, Hill is one of the fastest wide receivers in the league, known for catching deep passes. Adding to this is that the Dolphins already have a speedy wide receiver in Jaylen Waddle, who had a solid rookie season. Both will provide serious threats to defenses and will make the Dolphins potential playoff contenders.

In other words, the Dolphins may arguably have the fastest wide receiver duo in the league. It will be interesting to see how star Quarterback Patrick Mahomes performs without Hill. Although Mahomes still has Tight End Travis Kelce, one of the best tight ends in the NFL, the speed that Tyreek Hill gave the Chiefs will surely be missed.
