Football will never be the same without him. Tom Brady is the very definition of a “winner.” Three time MVP, 7 Super Bowl wins, and a 5-time Super Bowl MVP, not to mention all the additional records he holds, which would require a whole other article to list them all.
Love him or hate him, he will always be the GOAT; there is no debating that. Brady is easily the most competitive player in all of football. His passion for the sport is obvious. No lead is safe when against Brady. One of his most memorable moments in football history will undoubtedly be during Super Bowl LI, when the Patriots were down 25 points against the Atlanta Falcons before halftime. Most quarterbacks would have just looked ahead to the next season. Not Brady. He fought the whole game, until the clock had double zeros on both sides. And won.
Brady retiring, especially now with coming up a little short for a shot at getting to another Super Bowl, seems especially tough to take. But alas. The entire world of sports, not just football, just lost a living legend from the field. He will be missed, remembered, and discussed for years to come.
